چکیده

The paper presents a procedure for identification continuous-time Hammerstein systems. To improve the representation of the nonlinear functions, the set of basis functions is iteratively refined. It is possible to identify the dominant nonlinearities, applying a singular value decomposition to the input matrix. In our approach, the linear dynamic subsystem is described by a transfer function of a given order and the distribution based identification method is applied. Key-Words: Identification, Hammerstein systems, Distributions.

Identification of Continuous Time Systems with Direct and Feedback Nonlinearities

This paper presents a procedure for the identification of two types of a continuous-time linear system interconnected by direct and feedback memoryless nonlinearities. The first case is the continuous time Hammesrstein system and the second is a specific case of the continuous time Wiener system. The direct and feedback nonlinear elements, described by bounded unknown functions, are expressed a...

Nonlinear System Identification Using Hammerstein-Wiener Neural Network and subspace algorithms

Neural networks are applicable in identification systems from input-output data. In this report, we analyze theHammerstein-Wiener models and identify them. TheHammerstein-Wiener systems are the simplest type of block orientednonlinear systems where the linear dynamic block issandwiched in between two static nonlinear blocks, whichappear in many engineering applications; the aim of nonlinearsyst...

A unified approach for the identification of SISO/MIMO Wiener and Hammerstein systems

Hammerstein and Wiener models are nonlinear representations of systems composed by the coupling of a static nonlinearity N and a linear system L in the form N-L and L-N respectively. These models can represent real processes which made them popular in the last decades. The problem of identifying the static nonlinearity and linear system is not a trivial task, and has attracted a lot of research...

System Identification Using Fractional Hammerstein Models

Abstract: Identification of continuous-time non-linear systems characterised by fractional order dynamics is studied. The Riemann-Liouville definition of fractional differentiation is used. A new identification method is proposed through the extension of Hammerstein-type models by allowing their linear part to belong to the class of fractional models. Fractional models are compact and so are us...

Identification of continuous-time Hammerstein systems by simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation

This paper proposes an identification method for Hammerstein systems using simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation (SPSA). Here, the structure of nonlinear subsystem is assumed to be unknown, while the structure of linear subsystem, such as the system order, is assumed to be available. The main advantage of the SPSA-based method is that it can be applied to identification of Hammerst...
